30th Oct., 2016, the expert delegation of Trans Tajik Gas Pipeline Co., Ltd. paid a visit to SAWL line of JLSP, National Research and Development Centre and SAWH line of NCPSPC in Qing County CNPC BEM Steel Pipe Industrial Zone.
Having a brief understanding of steel pipe, technical capability and project performance, the delegation showed their high degree of trust and evaluation on JLSP’s business capacity and internationally famous technical strength, and also expressed their expectation of mutual cooperation in Central Asia Pipeline Project.
With total length of 1015 kilometers, Central Asia Gas Pipeline Project demands for 616 thousand tons of steel pipes, among which Tajikistan section is 416 KM, Uzbekistan section is 218KM, Kyrgyzstan section is 218KM and China section is 162 KM. Tajikistan section is the longest which occupies 40% of the total length. At present, Tajikistan section is in design stage, and its specific construction time depends on the schedule of the whole pipeline. (Translated by Zheng Fenfen)
